The number of books displayed on shelves in my office is 506.
Of which 34 contain my own work, whether editions of my novels or places where my work has appeared.
And of which 81 are graphic novels and anime.
There’s even more books in storage never mind my long boxes filled with comics.
Never did a count before. Now I know. That’s a lot of books and times that by even a conservative average of $12 each . . . Yikes!
