G.A. Geijutsuka Art Design Class

Doesn’t seem that this anime is getting much attention…

Sure its nothing too fancy, and there are no laserz flying everywhere but its a very good slice of life, art school comedy.  Let’s Go

Here is the Op and Ed songs

Opening Theme:

“Osaki ni sil vous plait (お先にシルブプレ)” by Ayanoi Koukou GA girls Ending Theme:

#1: “Coloring palettes Tomokane-iro (トモカネいろ)” by Miyuki Sawashiro (eps 1,6)

#2: “Coloring palettes Kisaragi-iro (キサラギいろ)” by Haruka Tomatsu (eps 2,8,11) #3: “Coloring palettes Nodamiki-iro (ノダミキいろ)” by Ai Tokunaga (eps 3,7) #4: “Coloring palettes Kyoju-iro (キョージュいろ)” by Kaori Nazuka (eps 4,9) #5: “Coloring palettes Namiko-iro (ナミコいろ)” by Yui Horie (eps 5,10) #6: “Kokoro-iro Palettes (ココロいろ Palettes)” by GA Genki Girls (ep 12)Ok so the first thing you see, is that its a buncha girls in an art school, so what?

Well that about it, you need to actually watch the anime to know more about it.  Lets start off with that each of the girls has a different personality and I can say that they are pretty extreme to an extent.

Kisaragi Yamaguchi – The one in the middle

We can define her personality as ’stupid’.  She likes to drift off into her thoughts about ’suneko’ which is a form of cat.  Her giant glasses are also part of her peronality

Miyabi “Kyoju” Ohmichi – The one on the bottom right

So her personality is the same a mono colours, black and white.  Has a lot of information about various art knowledge.  Very Smart person.

Miki Noda – The bottom left,

Childish personality with a lot of randomness and creativeness.  Sometimes her ideas dont work out the way she planned them to.  Quite cheeky as well.

Tomokane – Top right

The most energetic one, likes to paint destructively, and usually messes up Kisaragi’s works.

Namiko Nozaki – Top left

So her personality is probably the ‘mother’ of the group and takes care of everyone else.

So whats that got to do with anything?  Throw them all together and you have a wonderful comedy anime.

This series I really like because of the absolute hilarious things that pop up outta nowhere, and the sound and animation are not bad either.  This series also taught me a little more about art and design as well.

Since this series is slice of life, there isnt much of a strong storyline to it, just your great comedy of school life, nothing wrong with that right?

Enough of this G.A.,

Andrew Chin,
